The residency programme at Les Moulins de Paillard naturally dovetails with that of the arts centre, enabling original creations and encounters between a wide variety of disciplines - be they visual arts, choreography, music, architecture, publishing, etc. These exchanges and dialogues between ideas and artistic universes contribute to the uniqueness of Paillard. 

Each of the residency periods at Les Moulins de Paillard is uniquely constructed, on a case-by-case basis, according to the projects and needs of the artists, in accordance with the possibilities that our structure can offer. Every year, between 40 and 60 artists are invited to take up residence. The calls for applications are specific and targeted. Each artist at Paillard benefits from private accommodation on site, workspaces (studios and rehearsal rooms, theatre, gardens, etc.), tools and resources, as well as a personalised welcome.

Depending on the desires and possibilities of the artists in residence, Paillard encourages and initiates meetings and exchanges with the public by offering all generations the opportunity to experience creative processes alongside artists and cultural professionals.
