Mohamed Issa comes from Iraq and is the first artist on the Nora programme to be hosted at the Château de Goutelas in 2020. He graduated in Theatre Studies from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad, and on his arrival in France took up audiovisual studies with the aim of making cinema his means of communication, especially against terrorism.
With his new film project, Mohamad Issa examines the tensions between a young reformed jihadist, living in Paris, and his former network.
