As soon as the visitor enters, they are summoned by a musical wave to lose themselves in Nebula, the vibrant multicoloured garden whose grasses dance in the breeze.
Comprising a tunnel of interlaced poplar wood, this installation by two landscape artists is a place where visitors can take time to reflect in preparation for entering the convent. Visitor-voyagers can continue this experience of introspection in the heart of an immersive setting which plays with the idea of scale, oscillating between microcosm and macrocosm, between the ocean floor and wide open spaces. Concerts at Les Dominicains usher in a new era of small ensembles placed at the centre of the audience who will, thanks to the marvellous natural acoustics of the nave, find themselves immersed in the heart of the music.
