During her career, she has illustrated over thirty books, mainly for children, written by Latvian authors Inese Zandere, Mara Cielena and Janis Baltvilks. Her work as an illustrator has been nominated on several occasions for international awards such as the Astrid Lindgren Prize, included in the Hans Christian Andersen Award list, and has been honoured at the annual prize for the most beautiful book published in Latvia in the children's book category.
