Fama Mademba Sacko is a young actor, author and cultural journalist from Mali.
He has been passionate about writing since childhood. Influenced by his father, a French teacher and graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Fama Mademba began his training at a journalism school in Bamako.
Seduced by the theatre and in parallel with his short career as a radio journalist, he joined the Balla Fasséké Kouyaté Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers Multimédia in Bamako in 2017, graduating in 2020 with a degree in theatre. He took part in two writing residencies during which he wrote his very first play: Lettre à Tiffany, written and performed as part of the emerging writing programme at the LES PRATICABLES 2021 festival. He then wrote his second play, Un Baiser d'enfer, as part of the Nouvelle École Usine dramaturgy workshop run by Formation NEUF.
He also recently recorded a slam album in Côte d'Ivoire as part of the ELAN project run by the NAFOROBA-Abidjan company.
