The artist is a member of the ensemble Rubens Rosa.
Born in Brussels in 1994, Aliénor Wolteche studied modern violin at the Brussels and Cologne conservatoires. She then moved to Basel to take a master's degree in baroque violin at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Amandine Beyer.
She was a member of the Achille string quartet, which specialises in the classical repertoire on historical instruments. Aliénor then obtained a second master's degree with distinction in medieval and Renaissance music at the Schola, where she benefited from the tuition of Baptiste Romain, Marc Lewon and Katarina Livljanic. She has performed as a chamber musician at the Admiralspalast in Berlin, Cadogan Hall in London and Flagey in Brussels, as well as at the Claviers d'Alpage and Regensburg festivals, Laus Polyphoniae in Antwerp, Voix et Route Romane, BallArte (ES), Erasmus klingt (Basel), ReRenaissance (Basel) and the MA Festival in Bruges. She plays with the ensembles Le Miroir de Musique, Peregrina, Huelgas and Per-Sonat.
She was awarded the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship until 2020. Since March 2024, she has been a violin teacher at the Sélestat music school (FR).
