Heta Jäälinoja (Finland) is an animator and animation director.
During her residency at Fontevraud, she aims to finish the storyboard of her next short film Nun or Never.
Short synopsis (in progress):
Nuns are living in silence of the convent, executing their everyday routines, melted together as one mass. One morning the abbess doesn’t come out from her room. She’s planning to escape.
"Everyone feels sometimes that they differ from the others in unpleasant way. I want to deal with these moments of shame in tender and funny way through the group dynamics of a convent."
