• Network

With a national, European and international reach, the network of Heritage Sites for Culture (Centres culturels de rencontre or CCR in French) brings together around 45 members and partners around a shared issue – the dual promotion of a heritage site alongside a cultural and artistic project. The network has been coordinated by the ACCR (Association des Centres Culturels de Rencontre) since 1973.

The issues and themes addressed by the network include regional development, cultural transmission, professional integration, technological innovation, sustainable development, tourism and the creative industries, and the network represents a new approach to the promotion of heritage. The network therefore enables its members to tackle questions of cultural development and to forge partnerships with each other. Through the coordination and implementation of shared activities and programmes, the network also gives artists and researchers increased opportunities to promote their work on a national and international scale.
