The primary mission of the Fondation Royaumont is to support new generations of artists, singers, instrumentalists, composers, choreographers and dancers in the development of their professional careers, individually or as a group.
To respond to these challenges, the site makes available 53 bedrooms and 13 work spaces. Bringing together the François-Lang Music Library and the Mahler Multimedia Library, it offers young musicians an exceptional research tool allowing them to study aspects of repertoire interpretation. In addition to residencies (of three years) and professional training, the Fondation also introduced in 2016 its ‘Incubator’ programme to support projects submitted by groups of artists.
