The Fondation Les Arts Florissants, dedicated to the ‘baroque spirit’, administers an artistic and cultural project of rediscovery and transmission on the theme of music and the art of gardens. The Artists’ Quarter, an international artistic and cultural campus at the heart of the village, is home to the project’s artists in residence, whose activities are in line with the current activities of Les Arts Florissants. With reference to baroque music as much as to heritage or gardens, the residencies have several possible outcomes, including rehearsal or creation of new musical programmes, landscape creation, horticultural courses and studies on the architecture of the Artists’ Quarter.
