The Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe is offering actors living in exile in France the opportunity to take part in a practical theatre training course from Monday 15 April to Saturday 20 April, between 10am and 6.30pm, in the Odéon rehearsal studios (2 rue Corneille, 75006 Paris).
With the aim of contributing to the development of professional practice, the artists will be immersed in the life of a national theatre. They will take part in an intensive training course, which will also provide an opportunity for artists from different backgrounds to meet and exchange ideas.
The course will be directed by Jean-François Sivadier, a renowned actor, author and director. The question of language will be at the heart of this week of practical theatre, through a series of exercises, improvisations and work on texts.
The course is free (lunches and transport from the Île-de-France region will be provided by the theatre). It is open to anyone over the age of majority in a situation of exile, regardless of their administrative status, with professional experience as an actor. They must also have a command of the French language equivalent to level B2.
The number of participants is limited to 12. To apply, follow the link below.
The call for applications is open until 4 March.
