The Corte Ospitale is launching a call for applications for the "Moving to change" (MTC) project. The Italian CCR is looking for three artists and two cultural professionals in the performing arts to work together in residence at the Corte Ospitale for 30 days from 24 September 2024 to 24 October 2024. The Corte Ospitale is a residency centre located in Rubiera, a town between Reggio Emilia and Modena in the heart of Emilia-Romagna.
The 'Moving to change' (MTC) project stems from Corte Ospitale's experience in developing innovative processes for relationships between artists and communities.
The dialogue between artists and residents will be conceived from an intercultural and intergenerational perspective, using the performing arts to tell the story of a place that is perceived as cultural heritage, in order to find a new sense of belonging to it and new perspectives on it.
Deadline for applications: 5 May 2024.
To be considered eligible, artists and cultural professionals must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Active in the performing arts sector
- Legally resident in one of the 40 countries of Creative Europe, with the exception of Italy. Discover the list of countries concerned in the attached call for projects.
