Meeting 2024 - Aftermovie

Emile Rivet

The ‘Living heritage: exchange and cooperation at the heart of territories’ meeting, which took place from 12 to 14 December 2024 jointly at the Cité du Mot and the Abbaye de Noirlac, was an opportunity to produce a summary video reaffirming certain values and commitments specific to the Centres culturels de rencontre network.

Over the course of the three days, members of the ACCR network, partners and all those working for a global approach to regional development met, exchanged best practice and collectively reflected on the roles of cultural institutions in a context of crisis in representation and cooperation.

As a result, the notion of living heritage was questioned with a view to restoring a central place to listening to and taking account of living things, human or otherwise, in cultural and artistic projects. Bringing heritage to life, co-constructing with local residents, reinventing cultural institutions, reflecting on public cultural policies, decompartmentalising services, taking an interest in histories and the mission of reconciliation were all themes that fuelled the debates.

To find out more, the ACCR is pleased to invite you to watch the aftermovie of the 2024 meetings (only in French).
